Bear Park Henderson Preschool Centre is nestled within an alcove of educational facilities, with our Infant Toddler Centre, the areas local kindergarten and Summerland Primary School beside us.

It is a designer built Centre that was opened in February 2004. We cater for the children in aged appropriate classrooms, where the learning environment is full of exciting explorative educational encounters. Each classroom has easy access to a natural outside area, where the children can extend their gross motor skills; experience the joy of sand play; design their own water board; go on a "Bear Hunt" or just have fun creating their own game with friends. Each classroom has spaces for 'rest time' where children who are full day and need to, can do so without interruption from other friends. There are always opportunities for small group work or individual learning time in the classrooms.

As educators we support the child in their learning and encourage in a positive and responsive manner for him/her to develop their ideas and skills further. We have excellent staff to child ratios.

We value our parents and warmly encourage their participation in the Centre. We have a Parents Committee which acts as another voice for the general parent body and encourage open, honest communication between the parents and Centre.
