Facilities and Services:

Bear Park Mairangi Bay is a purpose built centre built in 2001. The centre sits on a large piece of land within the commercial area just off Constellation Drive and therefore provides a very central location for surrounding businesses as well as local bays residential areas.

The building is just one of the features which we believe makes Bear Park Mairangi Bay special with generous spaces allowed for indoor and outdoor play. We are equipped to cater for babies from 3 months old through to children leaving to school. The Centre is divided into 3 rooms the Fantail Room for babies to 2 year olds, the Kingfisher Room for 2 to approximately 3 ½ year olds and the Moa Room for the preschoolers. Each of the rooms opens out onto a covered outdoor decking area which in turn flows out to large outdoor spaces providing climbing equipment, large sandpits and areas to allow the children to ride bikes.

The philosophy of listening to the children and creating a nurturing environment has assisted in creating close relationships between the parents and teachers. Bear Park has an on-going involvement with parents, with parent teacher evenings, regular newsletters and an independent parent committee to facilitate open communication between parents and management.

We also provide a range of specialty classes which explore a range of different skills throughout the year e.g. music and dance classes
