We are a very small, cozy and intimate centre, a hidden treasure in amongst the business community of Parnell. We cater for 29 children aged from three months old to three years of age, therefore allowing for a very personal touch for parents.
As soon as you walk through our door you will notice that there is just something special about the atmosphere within. In our Fantail room (infant room), you will see children and teachers busily exploring the rich environment filled with natural and empowering resources. You will also encounter very meaningful interactions, and close relationships between children, parents & teachers. In our Morepork room (toddler room), you will find curious learners investigating and exploring what their stimulating environments have to offer. Here shared investigations allow for group learning experiences as well as fostering individual development.
Resources are exciting and thought provoking, allowing for extended learning and development. Our performing arts teacher offers weekly classes to the children, and provides a range of dance; mime; and music sessions to further inspire and empower our children and teachers.
We have a huge playground which invites the children to have amazing outdoor experiences at their door step. Curious eyes and hands explore and care for our vegetable garden. Watching the children hide behind the bushes and exploring in the long grass of the sensory garden is a pleasurable sight to see. Garden seats for relaxing, and cozy corners for intimate conversations with friends are enjoyed every day.
Communication is the key to a successful partnership between parents and the centre, and the teachers in Parnell take pride in ensuring that this is so. Evidence of the children's explorations and experiences line the walls clearly depicting the learning process that has taken place.
