Hi my name is Jeya Shivakumar. I am from Sri Lanka and have lived in New Zealand since October 1999, with my husband and two sons. I joined Bear Park in 2004, and became the supervisor in 2007. In my seven years I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the toddler team. I have a Diploma in Teaching in Early Childhood Education and I am passionate about creating an environment to enrich the children’s curiosity and wonder. I especially enjoy supporting the children’s ideas and theories through artistic mediums.
