Facilities and Services:

Bear Park Infant/Toddler and Preschool Centres in Albany, cater for 3 month to 5 year olds and are housed in two purpose built Centres . We are centrally located in a busy country area that is progressively being subdivided with housing developments emerging everywhere. There is also a large commercial area in close proximity to the Centre. Both the Northern Motorway and Upper Harbour Drive are close by . Massey University and the Albany Mega Centre are both within a few minutes drive. The Centres therefore offer a valuable service in this bustling and growing area.

The Centres boast flat outdoor areas with both natural grass and safe-fall bark areas with age appropriate outdoor climbing and play equipment. There are also large sandpits and the children are protected by large shade sails in summer. The indoor Centre environments are well resourced with specific areas linking to all curriculum areas which incorporate Te Whariki being the Early Childhood Curriculum.

Bear Park Infant/Toddler and Preschool Centres provide safe caring environments with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We are influenced by the Reggio philosophy and pride ourselves in providing a very high standard of educational care . Each child’s individual Portfolio records the interactions and learning experiences in great depth giving each parent a lifelong keepsake of his/her progress through early childhood.

We provide a range of specialty classes which explore a range of different skills throughout the year e.g. music and movement, art etc.
