Bear Park Infant and Toddler Centre and Preschool are two adjoining purpose built centres, nestled in a quiet residential location.
Our Infant and Toddler Centre offers a warm, friendly and welcoming environment with two areas specifically designed to nurture and support the curious minds of children aged from 3 months to 2 years. With a separate room for our babies aged 3-12 months we are able to provide an intimate and cozy space that caters for just 6 children with two experienced and attentive teachers who take pride in truly getting to know you and your child.
Just through the window you can see a small group of toddlers busily exploring their richly resourced environment and building warm relationships with each other and their teachers. Using carefully planned learning experiences a team of enthusiastic and qualified teachers gently foster and extend on the interests and investigations of these young children.
The Preschool at Bear Park Albany is a hive of activity where children are further challenged to build on existing relationships and previous learning experiences.
Our educational philosophy strongly reflects the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whaariki, whilst also gaining inspiration from the Italian schools of Reggio Emilia.
Through a wide and exciting range of educational resources and natural materials, our environment entices children to encounter and explore the world around them. With the support of a passionate team of qualified teachers, children are offered every opportunity to become strong, independent and confident young learners.
